Observation of Bs mixing at CDF

The recent observation of B^0_s-\bar{B^0_s} flavor mixing at the CDF experiment running at the Tevatron collider will be reviewed. The frequency of the oscillations have been measured with 0.7% precision allowing a further precise contraint on the CKM unitarity triangle and on physics beyond the standard model. The exploitation of the continously expanding Tevatron data set will lead to additional constraints on the Bs mixing parameters and to new opportunities for discovery with interesting interplay between B physics and Electro-Weak observables and Higgs searches.
