Description
A Higgs boson is needed to explain how the W and Z bosons of the weak force acquire mass and to consistently give masses to the fermions. The D0 and CDF experiments at the Fermilab Tevatron accelerator have each collected over 3/fb of data and developed advanced analyses which hunt for this elusive new particle. Searches for the Higgs in the context of the Standard Model, the MSSM, and other models will be discussed. Updated results from the Moriond '08 conference will be reported, where available. Finally, the projected sensitivity for the next two years, and the new techniques being developed to achieve this sensitivity, will be shown.
