Higgs production at hadron colliders with perturbative corrections

I will review perturbative effects that are necessary for estimating Higgs boson signal cross-sections from gluon fusion at Tevatron and LHC energies. These include NLO and NNLO QCD as well electroweak effects. Comparisons with parton shower Monte-Carlo's will also be shown. Finally, a discussion will be made concerning how a solution of the hierarchy problem may affect Higgs boson cross-sections and the general scope of Higgs boson searches within and beyond the Standard Model.
