StratusLab Service Manager -------------------------- 1.- Introduction to the Claudia (Service Manager) The Claudia Platform [23] is an advanced Service Management toolkit that allows Service Providers to dynamically control the Service provisioning and scalability in an IaaS Cloud. Claudia manages services as a whole, controlling the configuration of multi VM components, virtual networks and storage support by optimizing the usage of them by dynamically scaling up/down services applying elasticity rules, SLA and business rules. 2.- Claudia software in StratusLab tools (git, hudson) -- 3 sprints for a Claudia consistant version (packages generated in hudson) to be realised 3.- installation of Claudia in StratusLab testbed -- Due to security issues, Claudia (the VMI, SMI and the main component in Claudia) will be installed in the same machine -- Claudia to be installed in the same machine as opennebula. 4.- Applications for testing Claudia -- SGE, Torque and glite services -- WP5 is in charge of providing the glite services virtual machines for testing 5.- Integration of Claudia with others StratusLab components -- e.g. Quattor. There is not a need for integrating Claudia with Quattor. Quattor will be in charge of installing Claudia. -- Monitoring systems: It is not clear yet. To be discussed. 6.- Requirements Requirements to be obtained from end-users
