Description
The POLARBEAR experiment is one of the few ongoing ground-based experiment dedicated to the measurement of CMB polarization. In this talk I will review the data analysis activity of the first observational campaign of POLARBEAR who led to the first detection of the lensing effect on CMB polarization data alone. I will discuss the advantages for cosmological application offered by this observable to study the physics governing the large scale structure formation from CMB alone and through cross-correlation with future galaxy surveys like e.g. EUCLID and LSST. I conclude presenting the challenges for the modeling and simulation of the lensing effect on CMB in order to capitalize advantages offered by the cross-correlation techniques.
