Description
The LHCb experiment running at the proton-proton collider LHC at CERN, Geneva, is in a unique position to advance flavor physics. Recently an important milestone was met, when the precision on a central parameter, the CKM angle gamma, could be improved over that achieved by the previous experiments. I will review the most recent measurements, and show how they play together to bring down the uncertainty on gamma. I will conclude with an outlook on the upcoming second run period of the LHC.
