Description
Supersymmetry is one of the most promising and best studied extensions of the standard model and therefore a key element of the research programme at the LHC. Since the beginning of the physics run in 2010, the CMS collaboration has performed a large variety of searches inspired by supersymmetric models, and the increase of the LHC beam energy in Run II has given new momentum to this programme. The talk will give an overview of searches for supersymmetry at CMS with a focus on the most recent results and a short summary of the expectations for future LHC runs.
